A creative team combining diverse skills and generative AI to showcase products and services
Shukare Challenge is a vocational support center based in Yokohama, Kanagawa, operating under Japan’s Type B continuous employment support program for people with disabilities. Participants bring skills in video editing, image retouching, and AI content generation, working alongside vocational instructors to produce video and web content for businesses and local governments.
The team creates promotional videos and e-commerce visuals from product photographs, as well as explainer videos featuring fictional AI-generated presenters. Production combines AI-generated assets with manual image retouching and video editing, with vocational instructors reviewing the structure, finish, and accuracy of product depictions.
Past projects include product images and videos for e-commerce, crowdfunding landing pages, and brand films. The team has also produced public awareness videos for Yokohama City addressing the Help Mark initiative and community care, including content for digital signage on public transport.
Creative approaches range from realistic visuals and animation to Japanese special-effects-inspired sequences and conversational formats, tailored to each project’s purpose and platform. Sample production before a formal commission can also be discussed, depending on the scope and terms.
