Miao Fei is an AI filmmaker and film director based in Nanjing, China, with over 10 years of experience in television, brand events, and video production. Previous work includes planning and directing the official livestream for Tmall’s 2017 Double 11 event, working on JD.com’s 618 brand events, and producing livestreams for Jiangsu TV.
Today, Miao Fei combines that directing experience with generative AI, handling the full production process from concept development, scripting, and storyboarding to image and video generation and final editing. Projects span brand and service promotional films, cultural event films, original character animation, and narrative shorts.
Storytelling, visual consistency, and editing rhythm are central to this approach. Using tools such as Seedance, Seedream, and Jianying, Miao Fei shapes each film around the project’s purpose and also provides training in AI video production.
Miao Fei operates Xin Yan Studio in China and is available for fully remote international projects, with contracting available through the studio. Chinese is the primary working language; communication in English and Japanese is supported by translation tools, with a preference for email and other written correspondence.
