Designing Enduring IP by Unifying Characters, Stories, and Worldbuilding

Ryuya is an IP Creative Director who uses generative AI, XR, and video technologies to develop characters, narratives, and worlds as a unified creative system.
Since first working with image-generation AI in 2022, he has expanded his practice into video generation, voice synthesis, and XR, with a growing focus on building IP that can evolve over time rather than exist as one-off content.

His flagship project, Pokon’s, is designed to communicate stories without relying on language, using character expressions, movement, and distinctive emotional vocalizations instead. Developed as a character IP that can resonate across cultures and languages, the project reached 10,000 TikTok followers in approximately 48 days from launch and has attracted strong engagement from audiences overseas.

In video production, Ryuya has earned recognition in international competitions and has worked on promotional and content projects with global AI companies. Through partnerships with multiple AI platforms, including Kling, Hailuo, Dreamina, and Pollo, he is able to design production approaches tailored to the specific goals, format, and creative direction of each project.

Rather than treating AI itself as the objective, Ryuya focuses on creating characters and stories that genuinely move people. By incorporating emerging technologies with flexibility and working across video, audio, and XR, he continues to develop next-generation IP designed to connect with audiences worldwide and remain meaningful over time.
