Yano is an AI Filmmaker / Creative Director working across music videos, advertising, short films, and AI animation.
From concept development and story design to image generation, video generation, direction, and editing, he manages the entire production process while focusing on visual worlds and storytelling that leave a lasting emotional and intellectual impact.

By combining a wide range of generative AI tools, Yano designs the most effective production workflow for each project. His work prioritizes not only visual quality, but also the intention behind the story, direction, and overall creative structure.

His signature work, Halcyon, is a five-minute science-fiction animation set in a near future shaped by advertising and social evaluation. Built around the theme of “choosing for yourself,” the film minimizes explanatory dialogue and instead expresses the characters’ inner emotions through composition, gaze, movement, light, sound, and silence. Using generative AI, Yano created a consistent visual language and cohesive storytelling experience throughout the film.

Rather than treating AI simply as a tool for improving production efficiency, Yano uses it as a medium for realizing worlds and cinematic ideas that would be difficult to achieve through conventional production methods. Through ongoing film production, competition entries, and creative experimentation, he continues to explore and share new possibilities for AI-driven visual storytelling.
