About the Program

AI Daisakusen is an experimental entertainment program from TV Asahi that challenges new forms of creativity powered by AI.

Set within a fictional secret organization led by Commander Eiji Kotoge of the comedy duo Viking, the program follows AI creators and celebrity participants as they take on a variety of missions. By combining human imagination with AI technology, the show transforms ideas that were once difficult to realize into new forms of entertainment.

The first broadcast featured “Japan AI Clip Challenge” (ジャパン・AI・クリップ検定), a generative AI video project in which participants created original works based on assigned themes.

Using the given subjects as their starting points, AI creators and celebrity participants produced original video works based on their own creative interpretations.

We were involved in the creative production utilizing generative AI for the TV commercial “Support Google and Samurai Japan: ‘Don’t Know the Rules’ Edition,” which introduces Google Search’s “AI Mode.”

The commercial is designed to explain baseball rules in an approachable and engaging way, making it accessible even to viewers who are unfamiliar with watching baseball, including major international tournaments such as the WBC (World Baseball Classic). It showcases Google Search’s AI-powered features, which can be used directly from smartphone and PC web browsers.

For JAPAN AI CREATIVE CONTEST (JACC), one of Japan’s largest generative AI contests, three creators from AI Creators produced official PR videos. This project is a case study in using generative AI creativity to express a brand and contest worldview through PR/marketing video storytelling.

In this project, we positioned generative AI as a creative medium that supports expression, aiming to maximize the value of PR/marketing video communication.

Why the JACC Co-Creation Program Was Launched

The JACC Co-Creation Program was launched to connect creators using generative AI with companies and society. Rather than remaining simply a contest, it is an initiative designed to broadly communicate the new creative possibilities enabled by generative AI. This program was officially announced in a press release by FTG Company and WIZAI, and has drawn attention across the industry through the lens of “generative AI × marketing.”

AI Creators Community Members Shine at Japan’s Largest AI Contest

In September 2025, members registered with AI Creators achieved remarkable success at “COLOTEK,” a next-generation AI creative contest hosted by Nippon Columbia, winning multiple awards. The Grand Prize went to AoKi¹⁰⁴’s “ShowMeBeast,” while takahashi hiromu’s “THE EYES” won both the Excellence Award and the AI Colo-chan Award, drawing nationwide attention to the creative talent of registered creators. Additionally, kasamacura and aratama 璞 also advanced to the finals, captivating audiences with their diverse expressions utilizing generative AI.

What is “COLOTEK”?

COLOTEK is an AI creative contest hosted by Nippon Columbia that discovers and supports creators pursuing new forms of expression across AI music, video, and art domains. The 2025 theme was “Visualize the Monster Within You.” Based on the challenge song “Party of Monsters,” original video works called “Capsule Movies” utilizing AI technology were submitted from across Japan. Judging was conducted by “AI Colo-chan,” an AI judge, along with experts in music, video, and technology fields. The Grand Prize-winning “ShowMeBeast” depicts the “animalistic nature” and “creativity” lurking within the human psyche through a unique visual presentation that fuses photorealistic AI with character AI. The visuals that transform in sync with the music’s beat create intense immersion by leveraging the precision of AI generation technology while incorporating manual direction and composition. Multiple generative tools were utilized in production, presenting new possibilities for AI art from both visual and auditory perspectives.

THE EYES｜takahashi hiromu

“THE EYES,” which won both the Excellence Award and AI Colo-chan Award, is a video work themed around “the gaze of the observer” lurking between silence and madness. The relationship between the “watching entity” and “watched entity” created by AI in the video is expressed through delicate direction, earning high praise from judges who noted it “opened new frontiers in the lyricism of AI video.”

Algorithmic Bestiary｜aratama 璞

Among other AI Creators registered members, kasamacura and aratama 璞 also appeared in the finals with works employing unique AI expressions. Kasamacura garnered attention with photorealistic art elements that viewers want to watch repeatedly, while aratama 璞 captured interest with anime-style visual art and character design depicting psychological fantasy worlds, presenting possibilities for lyricism and narrative in AI video. The competition adopted a judging policy that questioned not only technical proficiency with tools but also the artist’s stance on “how to co-create with AI.”

Judging and Event Highlights

Judging was conducted by AI Colo-chan (an AI judging model powered by NeuroAI® D-Planner®), along with video directors, music producers, and other judges.
